Another Household Repair

No sooner did we pay for a new septic tank and drain field for $3000, that we suddenly have an excessively noisy furnace. We called a furnace specialist referred by Stephen and he said there is a leak in the furnace in addition to a broken blower motor. The price for the furnace, wholesale, is $960 plus tax. The cost of the installation will be $425 and it will be completed by Saturday afternoon.

That's an investment of $4475 into a home we are about to put on the market. Additonally, regionally, houses are not selling unless the sellers are willing to continue marking down the price. It's a sad state we're in at the current time.
