Quote of the Day

I must say that I have a particular fondness to anything concerning Winston Churchill. I hold him in the highest esteem and enjoy reading about him and things he said. From a recent email, I enjoyed the following excerpt:

"We contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle."

How can one not admire his wisdom?
