The Cold Baby Incubator

Whether babies are born premature or not, they need to be near their mothers. The incubators are so far removed from anything remotely maternal. I realize that some babies require such assistance in order to survive, however, it also seems a rather insensitive box in which they live. Infants require coddling, cooing and kissing from their mothers. However, I suspect this isn't considered when it means life or death for the infant.
