I recently returned from a mini-vacation to see friends and family in the Metro Detroit area. It was a pleasant change of pace. I had a chance to visit my brother Russell and my friends Anthony, David, Belle, Melissa, Shelby, Jim, Paul and Clare. Had the timing been different, I may have also been able to visit my sister June, my cousin Michael, my cousin Lisa and my friend Bruce.
My next visit will occur around the time of my sister's birthday and we will visit the Belle Isle Aquarium which they intend on closing after 103 years on April 3, 2005. Detroit has apparently been losing $350,000 per year for the past several years. Tell your friends and family that NOW is the time to visit as it will be the last time!
