Comments about Supplements

There are lots of supplements on the market, some of which are not useful to anyone, but most of which are useful to most people. When you ask about things like Spirulina, Wheat Grass and Blue or Red algaes, I have to say that they are all beneficial to most people. There are others, as well, however that are beneficial. Actually, a lot of the reason someone may select one or another type of supplement should be related to their exact needs.

For example, if someone lives near the ocean, there is not so much need for the algaes because it is naturally occurring and readily available in that region. However, if someone lives far away from bodies of salt water, those food supplements may be helpful and may be obtained in a more natural form by eating seaweeds and by consuming ocean life, including naturally occurring iodine. That is a critical item that is not recognized enough. Although it is believed that we get enough iodine from iodized salt, which is a fallacy which is leading many people to a false sense of security.

On the other hand, there are lots of other types of supplements that are needed by the human body. For example we all need multi-minerals which are obtained from nature as much as possible. There is one item which I recommend for anyone, though it's very strong and tends to give me a tummy ache. It is called Source of Life by Nature's Plus and if you get a chance to read the list of ingredients, you will find it to be chock full of wonderful items including the algaes, minerals, vitamins and herbs.

Still, more than anything, I always recommend that people obtain their nutrients from natural sources like fresh, organic fruits and vegetables because another key factor is that they contain enzymes. In addition to the enzymes included in raw foods I highly suggest that people add an enzyme supplement like Vitalzym. That is the brand that I highly recommend to anyone over 25 years of age.

That's all I have to say on this topic for now. I hope this helps you. Feel free to write to ask questions as they occur to you.
